1. Who we are

The Ladder of All is a free browser game available at ladderofall.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or play, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account information (optional). If you create an account we store your chosen nickname and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address from Google to identify your account — we never see your Google password.
Game data. Your high scores, levels reached, and rungs climbed are stored so they can appear on the leaderboard next to your nickname.
Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the service running.

Playing as a guest requires no account and no personal information.

3. Cookies and local storage

Session cookie / token. Used to keep you logged in to your account.
Local storage. Used to remember game preferences on your device.
Advertising cookies. Our advertising partners (see section 4) may set cookies to show ads and measure their performance.

4. Advertising

We display ads to keep the game free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

7. Data retention & your rights

Account and score data are kept for as long as your account exists.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below). We will remove it within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA under GDPR), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, portability, and objection. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The game is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) beyond what is technically necessary to run the game. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
